Ubisoft has confirmed that a closed beta for the upcoming Rainbow Six: Siege will be heading to Xbox One and PlayStation 4 later this year, following a closed alpha on PC. Speaking to VideoGamer, Ubisoft confirmed that guaranteed access to the beta will be granted to all those who pre-order Rainbow Six: Siege. It looks like there’ll be other ways in too, but the publisher has yet to elaborate. No timings have been revealed yet. "Yes, you can now pre-order Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege to get access to the Closed Beta later on this year," said Ubisoft. "Stay tuned for more information on the Closed Beta in the coming months.” Inspired by counter terrorist operations, Siege is all about close quarters confrontations within tight, claustrophobic, highly-destructible environments that demand tactical, co-ordinated team play.
