Hi guys, I have a RGH Xbox 360 with a 60GB HDD and I've been trying to run Xbox Original games on it, and I've tried everything under the sun and I can't get them to boot. I just want to quickly say that if I leave out any helpful information, just let me know and I'll edit it in asap. So here's a quick breakdown: My unit is PAL - Games I'm trying to launch are Whiplash (Unsupported, unknown region) and Simpsons H&R EUR (Supported) - I extracted both game ISO's with two different tools (Qwix and ExtractXISO) - Games are in HDD1/Xbox1/GameName/default - I've tried running partition fix/copying compatibility files over to HDDX using 2007 and 2011 files. - I've tried restoring partition2 via PC using Xplorer360 - I've tried doing the above + a combination of overwriting with 2007/2011 compatibility files - I've tried launching games with xex/fsd I've probably tried a bunch of other stuff too that I've forgotten about. Nothing seems to work. What happens is I get a blank screen when I launch the game. As soon as I push the xbox button on the controller, the menu pops up where I can shut down the console. As soon as this menu pops up, the game crashes behind it. If I attempt to return to the system menu with Y, the console will freeze. If I select shut down console, it'll shut down fine. After my first attempt at restoring via a partition2.bin file on my PC, I managed to get both games to boot to an xbox original logo, after a second or two I would get an incompatible game prompt (I think this was only for Whiplash though, not sure). Before I can read the prompt/select OK, the thing crashes and goes back to the system menu. Since trying all sorts of things, including restoring from a partition2.bin file, I'm back with the blank screen again. So it's very hit and miss. Sorry for the lecture, I've tried a bunch of stuff and spent all day researching the issue. I've only been able to find one guy with the same problem and he gave up. Any advice would be great, thanks a lot.
