I have an ASRock 990FX Extreme 3, I got it about a 6 months ago and it's been working until a few days ago where it completely died where I've tried different PSU's, Different RAM slots, Different HDD's and nothing works.
Here's what happened just before it completely broke.
I told my mate not to open a computer whilst it's on, even though they may be no risk I still don't like chancing it but he opened my case whilst it was on and touched a SATA cable that wasn't plugged into a HDD but it was connected to the motherboard still and just as he touched the cable my motherboard made a really loud screech noise so I turned it off by the switch and it won't boot up, My fans don't spin, nothing.
I have also checked all my bank statements and past paypal purchases and it isn't there at all so I can't send it back because I dunno where I got it from,
    Wish I kept the invoices.

Any help would be appreciated and I can provide images if needed.

Did you happen to make sure everything was secured and locked into place, and cords plugged in as well?

maybe first of all try booting without graphics card and maybe clear the cmos that should help

also if that dosnt work you can start by trying to boot with 1 ram module

You sure he didn't static shock the board? If your floor is carpet he could have given it a static shock which kills your mobo. If that's the case then I'm afraid your out of luck.
