That is the message I get when I try to open a Bioshock save file in the Bioshock save editor. For clarification: #1. I made sure I had some value of both money and ADAM before even attempting it. #2. I've attempted with the file extracted both via Horizon and via 360Rev's own device manager. Same result. #3. It is the full save file, and not any of the contents therein. I did try with separate internal components (since some save editors require that and it didn't specify), but it told me for those that they weren't valid Bioshock saves... as opposed to the full, unmodified file, which gave the result as seen in the screenshot. Apparently the file is too big to attach, so I'll link to it instead. Is that okay? [ Link to Save File ]
I'm not sure if it helps any... but I'm playing a version of the game that I downloaded off the Live Marketplace... ... and I don't know if such downloads have a region-coding... but since I'm in the UK, it would probably be the European version if so. I've noticed before that some game saves differ between European and American versions... so it might be worth mentioning. I have technically forgotten the precise Money and Adam I had in the savegame in question... unfortunately... but it shouldn't matter overmuch. [As a minor aside, I looked up how to use offzip/packzip to hex-edit the save files anyway, which I did get to work though it was a very long and arduous process.]
My Problem is that i always get the error "No save data could be found". My difficulty is easy. I'm using the original version (no cuts or regional versions)
It would help if you included your save to identify your issue if it's isolated or related. Nevertheless, we are already aware of the initial reported issue and are working towards a fix in an overhaul.
Of course, sorry. I'll upload it to mega.nz because its too big to be attached. Link: https://mega.nz/#!NUZDmbqZ!48GA4N9tnMoETawaZ8CWNENNLs9QAuemme6K6gsGkeI Decryption key (if required): !48GA4N9tnMoETawaZ8CWNENNLs9QAuemme6K6gsGkeI
Much appreciated. They are in similar issues. There is a bug but there is also a minute difference between the two saves. We'll handle it.
Typically, when we fix any issue we will update 360Revolution in which you will be prompted to download the newest version upon opening your instance of 360Revolution -- in addition to us creating a thread in the 360Revolution section with the changelog.
