EA and Visceral Games are planning to release a new update for Battlefield Hardline soon, which will introduce free DLC for all players. Titled Battlefield Hardline: Blackout, the free add-on will bring night time maps, weapons and night vision goggles to the party.The update will also add a range of improvements to the game, while the themed content will centre around "the cloak of darkness". Basically, Blackout adds two versions of existing maps and sets them at night. Here's a breakdown of what you'll get with the free Blackout DLC: Two maps: Night Job and Night Woods (night versions of Bank Job and Backwoods) 1 new gadget: Night Vision Goggles 2 new weapons for all classes and factions: a new version of the RO933 and a new Battle Rifle New music, camos, assignments, patches, and more Spectator Mode will also receive a "tune-up", while the latest patch in which Blackout will be included will focus upon improvements to "stability and usability". Battlefield Hardline: Blackout is coming "soon". An exact release date has yet to be revealed.
