I had a hearth attack when I saw that. I was so happy to start developing a game and then I saw the membership price. (You can sell your indie games on the Xbox Live market place) Anyone here know if I can test my game without the membership? Thanks!
If you build it using the software they provide you can test it in the software. Sent from my Huawei-U8665 using Tapatalk 2
IMO it's not worth getting into indie games on M$ products at this point, since they are killing off indie for Xbox One by the time you actually get something finished to release,, the majority of the market will have moved to the new console , from what I have read if your going into the indie biz Sony is the company to go with but yes if you buy the XNA membership you will be able to debug/run your project on a retail (unmodified) xbox. however another point I would make is if you are seriously considering doing this , download some of the sample applications and framework packages they provide free to anyone,(example: Race car framework for basic racing game) this will give you a bit better idea of the scope of things involved in a project like an indie game
Well, I'll make a game for PC now. Maybe like RS or Minecraft, I don't know for the moment. So I have the time to make other programs ^_^ Thanks for the advice
