For people still having trouble, I've found that a way to fix it is to launch the trainer launcher using xexMenu instead of FSD.

there are 2 versions now, one that is completely stable (6.1) then the alpha one that has more features but is less stable. I recommend the alpha...

EDIT: the new TU8 is kicking my butt, won't be able to host for 3-6 days.
