Tested a few times but didn't work as the money value of the save file viewed in the save editor was "0" even though the tutorial and an additional hunt was done, However after spending some money the save editor showed the correct value and was able to mod the save file flawlessly.

I also can't get it to show my credits, I have done tutorial and about 5 other hunts and also spent some money. I will keep trying after some more hunts and money spent and see what happens. Any other suggestions?

 

The only time that worked for me was after buying a rifle then quitting to the main menu and loading the progress file in the save editor afterwards.

Doesn't work. Tried it over 10 times all with different amounts of money ranging from 1k to over 30k. I've been getting this error with the new update:

 

I couldn't get the last version to work and I am also now getting a similar error message everytime.
