Hi guys although i have had my jtag for a while now. I bought it pre built and have never updated it. using the usb standalone server with upd my console i get the following. I have never had to update anything on the box b4 but looks like its time. Iam s**t scared as not to brick it by doing the wrong thing. What is the easiest solution for a noob like myself to fully update it. Dude, thank's allot for this great tools!!!! Worked great....after 2nd try. First time I got an error, and my AVATAR and KINECT didn't work, but FSD loaded with no problems. I tried once again (same steps as the first time), and everything's OK now. Thank's again. Bogdan, ROMANIA.
This program worked great! I did have to run it twice to get my avatars to update correctly but that is no problem with something this easy to execute. Thanks!
Can not connect Xbox with PC.Total Commander on PC is operational and copying to HDD , but UpdateMyConsole.bat can not find xbox. Where is the problem? Pleas HELP
I found out i need to update my dash to get the stupid TU 8 to work on ghosts so this will be great to use anyway what im wondering is i have a custom boot up but don't want it anymore but don't have a back up flash/nand before hand and i've read somewhere you can open up the updflash? file and input the bootanim.xex and update to get it back or something along those lines could i do that with this? or would updating the dash reput the bootanim back on the flash partition? i hope i worded that right UPDATE : It did replace my bootanim so its all cool now
Hey everyone. I Was hoping someone could help me update my rgh. Tried this numerous times, I can ftp right into my xbox, but when trying the updatemyconsole.bat, it does not find the xbox. I even hardwired the console directly to the pc, and it still will not find it. I also tried using the server way, and still nothing. Is someone willing to help me, even using teamviewer if needed. I know I must be missing something stupid. Dashlaunch 3.11 is on, and updserv is enabled.
I cant get my Xbox to show up on the network the updater is looking for does anyone know how to fix this? I got it to work , just switched off Windows firewall while i tried it , found and finished in less than a minute. now happily playing Thief, Thanks for the quick and easy update option

last time i updated my xbox was not reading discs. Will the same problem occur with this update as well???
this is great. i did it and it worked but i now i have xbla games problems. they all still show up in fsd, but now they don't work? i click them from fsd and nothing happens? i also tried from file manager and same thing, if i click the game file or select them from the file manager and now a start icon just appears in front of the file or the file just gets highlighted, but nothing happens. before, i just clicked "a button" them from file manager and they all ran fine, no start icon thing or highlights ever appeared, the games just started. regular and kinect games still works fine. please someone help. thanks a lot.

Do like Ick2290 did and enable updserv and FTP in Dashlaunch. First though I'd recommend downloading the latest version of Dashlaunch 3.11 and putting it (after extracted to a FAT32 formatted USB stick). Run the Default.xex in the Installer folder located on the USB Stick. Your 360 should reboot after Dashlaunch update. After reboot I again launched the Default.xex in the Installer folder and then did as the OP said in post #1 . Now with dashlaunch still open after you have done the steps above, run the bat file. It only took about a minute and then the system immediately shuts down. Just power back up and you should now be on the latest Dash. Good luck man. Thanks @Ick2290, that did it for me as well.
