Yo, so I paid a guy to let me license transfer mw2 to my console. however first time i downloaded it got to ~80% and then said "couldn't download game" and I got a corrupted mw2 that I couldn't play, so I tried again.. I deleted the corrupted game and all other corrupted games i had and cleared system cache, tried to download again and same error, game couldn't download and mw2 was corrupted. How can I fix this?
I believe the account is created in UK, I am in Sweden, and i've done a license transfer but still game is getting corrupted.
The Xbox 360 console also stores temporary files for the Xbox Games store. You may be able to resolve this issue if you delete the Marketplace System Data file. To delete the Marketplace System Data file, follow these steps: On your console, go to settings, and then select System. Select Storage, and then select your primary storage device. Select System Items. Select Marketplace System Data. Select Delete. Restart your console. Try to buy or download the item again.
If this will not help you can also trying download 3 of any demos and Mw as 4th. Then the mw will be downloaded in other place on disk. This can help in eliminate crashed hard disk
Didn't work by deleting the file, trying the 3 demos now. 1st demo: 1.06gb 2nd demo: 1.90gb 3rd demo: 1.06gb 4th game is modern warfare 2 @ 6.7gb Let's hope this works. gonna take awhile though haha.
If this will not work i dont have other ideas. You can try migrate account on your own region or just write to support.
just wondering how did this ended up. could you find a fix for this? I'm experiencing the corrupted download file too.
