Confirmed working with Astro A40's Item's Needed: - Official Xbox One Headset - 2.5mm Stereo Jack -- (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00AKWR59M/ref=oh_details_o06_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) - Soldering Iron - Solder - Flux - Torx T6 screwdriver - Hot Glue Gun - Razor to trim plastic Step 1 Use your fingernails to seperate the the two halfs. Step 2 This will expose 5 Torx 6 screws that you need to remove. (2 silver & 3 black) Step 3 After you have the 5 screws removed lift the plastic cover and remove the pcb and desolder the 4 wires. Once unsoldered should be able to see 4 solder points screenprinted as HPL , HPR , MIC and GND . Credits to Khaos2k for the 5 pics above, no need to reinvent the wheel so I just used his pics. Step 4 Trim the plastic cover so the 2.5mm jack will fit & not pinch the wires. Trim the areas marked in RED Step 5 Install the 3 wires & 2.5mm jack like the 2 pics below. (Black = GND, Red = Mic, Blue = HPL) I would advise that you insert your 2.5mm cable into the jack and use the pic below to test for continuity between your cable and the legs on the jack before you solder. Be sure to include the little silver jumper wire in the pic below or it doesn't work. (Jumper may not be needed with other brands of 2.5mm jacks) (The outer metal ring is the only spot for GND on this brand of 2.5mm jack) Step 6 Insert the pcb into the 2 plastic halfs and install the 5 screws that you removed. Step 7 I added a little hot glue to the jack to help secure it after i got it screwed back together. After I put te hot glue on i trimmed it flat with a razor. I broke a locking tab on the right side that holds the bottom cover on so it doesn't snap back together as good as it did, but i'll fix that. Congrats On Your New Headset Adapter!!

bro this is just what i needed do you have any left to ship also could you answer a few question for me please.? With this method has been tested to see if it has echo when in a live party as i have done it with a spare headset from another tutorial that was posted and my when i use Turtle's its echos .
Haven't tested it with TB yet but it works perfect on Astros, no echo. But I currently use AA batteries and read the echo is caused when play and charge cable is connected. I'm picking up a play and charge kit in 1hr and I'll update the thread with info.
