I managed to mod my owner funds a while back, just took trial and error to finally get it. Kurtt, I'll look at your tutorial to the stadium upgrades since that's something I'd like to mod also. Anyone attempt modding the scouting XP or max out player xp? I got the player xp to work once but I think it was only like 60000ish points which really doesn't help when the upgrades start costing more than that. Anyone get any results higher than that? There used to be awesome modding tools that would let you select a max out the XP pool so you just just upgrade all day, that'd be nice to see again for madden 25!
Btw, those stadium upgrade, I found that those values I searched for are specifically for the Panthers. I'm about to go to an Xmas event, so I can't really explain in depth, but your values will be somewhere above or below that. They're in groups of six, and I believe are in alphabetical order, according to city.
I've done the scouting XP thing a while back. It capped at a little over half a million points, so I just spent what I could and then saved it, and re-altered the scouting xp to get back to half a million. I just never mentioned it anywhere except my facebook page when I found it. It's pretty easy to find since you know the exact value to look for.
Yeah, I managed to mess around with it a bit more and did the same thing for scouting xp. Maxed at about 524k or something like that and I just scouted people for their development traits and re-did it as needed. Also managed to find it pretty easy to mod player's XP since you can see their total amount and then actually search for it specifically (hex value) and then made changes. Somewhere along those lines I messed something up because I went from having positive 2.09bil to negative and I can't seem to fix it and I need to in the worst way! The season is over and I can't resign anyone and it's going to make me retire if I can't fix the budget lol. I'm controlling the patriots so I thought they would be somewhere near the panthers but I can't find anything with "7F FF FF FF 7F" as you mentioned that a negative should end the string with 7F. It'd be great if we just knew what each team's value is in hex I'm on a mission now to fix my deficit!
Next up... contract mods? Think that's possible? I hate that you can't restructure a contract other than during the designated period. What if Tom Brady wants to restructure his contract to free up cap space so that I can make a run for a top WR? Maybe I'll find a way to mod his cap hit... but i doubt it
Was your negative value starting with something different? I could only guess since I only had my game save to work with, and I didn't want to go further into the negatives.
And one of these days, I might just test out each team and write down the hex code for each. I'm just normally way too lazy to resign/reload a game save 32 times. I guess I could do 3 or 4 at a time with different values and know which one was the highest, 2nd highest, etc.
Actually, they started with 00's. It's happened a couple times now actually and I just go back and change it again to reset my funds back to a positive 2.15bil. The off-season was kind of a mess because I was making offers to free agents and each week I was only signing one free agent and then my funds would go back to a negative number and I had to reset the funds again then proceed to the next week and sign more. It was very strange and then the last phase of free agency I signed like 5+ people so I'm not sure what was going on. Also, I noticed that my stadium stuff was located in a different location but followed the same pattern. I went ahead and renovated all of my stuff so they would be 99's and I got the same values you had with the F1, 31, B1, etc. Odd that they're all rated 99 yet they have mostly different hex values. I tried one as FF to test the level 8 upgrade and sure enough, it worked. Not sure which area would actually benefit the most from a level 8 upgrade, any experience there? I posted an example of my hex values below for anyone else interested in changing their stadium upgrades. These values are for the Patriots franchise and will NOT work for any other team. Also, if anyone needs any help with their mods feel free to send me a message. The funds are going into the negatives because you're reaching the cap that the machine can recognize, then it loops it around back into the negatives. I just put my money as DD DD DD DD, because it's still plenty for me and I'm too lazy to figure out a little under 2 billion. The "D" figure gives me more than 1.5 billion which is still plenty. As for the level 8 upgrades, I got those as well, but when I tried to make everything level 8, that's when my Xbox would freeze, when loading the stadium section. So I toned it down a bit. But yeah, the "99" values are all over the place, so I can't figure that out. I just kept everything max, and then when the season ended, I lowered everything to crap values so that I could rebuild. Editing does get pretty easy now, however Coach XP -owner mode- (for me) still needs at least 2 saves to weed out the values.
Yeah, I was thinking of doing the same thing with my funds (all D's) to prevent any future issues. Glad to hear that solves it. If you upgrade your stadium seating to level 8 does it increase the stadium capacity? What values did you use at the end of the season to allow you to rebuild? I need to find a crappy franchise to test the values for each section to allow me to "upgrade" each section instead of just renovating back to a 99 value. Also, I noticed that some of my higher skilled rookies coming into the league have low personality ratings which can't be upgraded via the progress players route and I have yet to see anyone talk about it online about how to increase those numbers. I'm not sure if winning awards or high season stats increase those values, but it kind of stinks when you draft a new franchise QB and his personality rating is a 53 so he doesn't sell jerseys or memorabilia. I tried doing a little investigating to see if it could be modded but it just locked up my xbox so I have to investigate further to see what the appropriate "99" value should be in hex. I found that players XP values and then a few lines below I saw that the last value listed before a bunch of 00's was 35 (hex value for 53). That does happen to be the very last skill value if you go to your roster editor for a player and scroll all the way to the right, so I'm pretty sure that actually is the personality value. I just need to find someone with a 99 value to see what that it is hex and see if I can mod my QB's to the same and it stick. I tried FF as well as 63 and both of them locked up my xbox. If its anything like the stadium values, it will be different. I didn't have any issues editing my coach XP. My franchise is owner mode using robert kraft, not a created owner, and I was able to edit my coach's xp to FF FF FF FF and that's WAY more than enough to max out your coach. Are you using a created character or an existing one?
My owner was character created (Me, gamefaced). My coach is Ron Rivera, but he was easy. The problem was when I was editing someone else's game save file on here and they had all 32 teams as owners and also requested all 32 coaches' XP to be bumped up. I can do the owner stuff with just 1 save file, but I couldn't pinpoint all the coach XP for 32 teams with just 1 save game ( too many instances of values like "02 72" or "07 D0" showing up... it's just too common.) But when I had two saves to work with, I was able to find the general area and then work off of one save when I knew where to look for it. I don't know if the game save keeps info on coaches that aren't hired, but are in line for hiring... or ones you fired and no other team picked up. As for personality and stuff, I couldn't find anything either. I made a whole custom team for the Panthers, except I kept Cam Newton and Luke Kuechly, the rest of the team were max stats and three random ones were selected with popularity/personality lower than Newton and Kuechly. Even after two full seasons of my QB making NFL MVP twice in a row and my RE making record game/season sacks and DPOY twice in a row, they never even appeared on the list. I was tempted to just drop those two from the team, but I'm kind of attached and it's not like I can just drop in two more created players into the roster. As far as stadium upgrades, I don't think level 8 seating gave me more seats, but I don't recall looking specifically at that either. Maybe it just keeps happiness from dropping as fast? For my Panthers stadium, it started off pretty crappy. 17 yr old stadium and nothing was higher than level 3 upgrades.
Which values did you use at the end of the year to allow you to rebuild? When you rebuild, what levels do you start off with in your new stadium? I've never attempted a rebuilding of a stadium or a franchise relocation, I have always been attached to the "Gillette Stadium" name and hate that you can't choose the name of the new stadium and you get some random sponsor. I'm kind of curious though, I wouldn't mind building a new stadium if it meant larger attendance and new features. As for the personality stuff, if your QB won MVP two years running and it didn't boost his ratings then that means EA just dropped the ball on that feature. I'm sure it'll be a "new" feature next year that will be pitched to make us spend another $60 on the next title. I'd still like to see if there's a way to alter those ratings, it just doesn't make sense you can draft a top QB and make him a superstar and yet the fans don't like him because of a static personality rating.
Hi! I'm having trouble just using this editor on my player file. I've extracted the contents of the save, edited it, repackaged it, rehashed and resigned, and still have only 2000 xp. any tips?
I'll show the numbers I used for my sections. First number is level hex, 2nd number is the Happy hex. Parking - 08 18 = Lvl 2 ; 49 Happy Store - 10 4B = Lvl 3 ; 22 Happy Fan - 08 85 = Lvl 2 ; 11 Bathroom - 10 B5 = Lvl 3 ; 107 Happiness (I kept this because the overall value was still under 40; too lazy to alter when it didn't matter.) "DF" was the original value at 63, I thought going lower would lower it, but I guess I lowered too much. Concession - 11 0B = Lvl 3; 23 Seating - 11 4C = Lvl 3 ; 24
