Hey guys I have a problem after 3 hours of playing xbox one it shut down and the power supply won't even light up and the xbox one won't even turn on I hope where I baught it from will replace I tut it gotta wait until Monday
oh my days this should not happen you pay good hard earned money for the latest console and 3 hours seriously it gives up shame on m/s this is what happens when consoles are mass produced to meet a day one deadline i hope you get this sorted bud .
As long as deadlines are driven by greed and there are no quality regulations in place, it'll always happen.
hit the nail right on the head there mate so many reported issues and its just over 24 hours released i wonder what problems / issues where gonna be seeing in the next week or so . i feel bad for those people though that have recived one paid good money and only to have issues i would be so annoyed , to put it mildly .
It's most likely your PSU if its not lighting up make sure your plugged into a circuit not using too much power and not enough left for the console. If the powerbrick isn't lighting up at all it sounds PSU related. Unplug from console and wall let it sit for a minute or 2 and plug it back in.
These 2 knuckleheaded corps (M$ & Sony of course) are never going to have a decent first release of anything they will every build, in my opinion this boils down to one thing and one thing only. They both try so hard to keep their new product so secretive that it receives little to no real world testing before release,, im sorry you can run consoles in house, with your big dev firms, in labs and rag them with load programs etc all that.... and it will never measure up to real world use, by real world people. sorry to hear about your new toy man ,,that sucks
Troubleshooting option for you: Go old school and blow inside the console like the NES, see if that works.
Lol I went old school and blew inside it and connected it properly so it defiantly bust I'll just have to wait and yea it's the lets get them out as fast as we can lol contacted ms and they said it could take 27 days to escalate it
you can try what darkside did and see if it works you gotta press both buttons guide button and the on button it's go's into shutdown mode to save power turns everything off
Was about to buy it today but my dad wont let me he said buy it next year so no problem will happen with the console
Could of blown a fuse in the PSU? I dunno, I've been on for a good what 18 hours downloading everything. No problems at all. Except temperature.
