This tutorial will show you how to take apart the Xbox One.
The aim of this guide is to help you take it apart and clean it or maybe even fix it ( lets hope not ) and thanks to the guys over at iFixit we can now so just how easy it is to take apart the Xbox One.

    Things you will need:

    Xbox One ( doy )
    Small plastic prying tool
    T9 Torx screwdriver

So lets get started shall we:

    Step 1 :

Take a small plastic prying tool and gently lift the bottom end grill

    Step 2 :

Using the same pry tool loosen up the clips that hold the top and bottom case together

    Step 3 :

You will need to remove the wifi board

    Step 4:

Detach the small speaker from the chassis with your fingers.

    Step 5 :

There are eight 64 mm T9 Torx screws securing the upper metal shield to the chassis.

    Step 6 :

Once you remove the shield from the chassis you should now be feasting your eyes upon the inner belly of the beast..

    Step 7 :

Finally removing the drive from the mobo

    Step 8 :

Remove the standard 2.5 inch SATA II drive.

    Step 9 :

Now you can remove the RF module which you simply slide away from the case towards you.

    Step 10 :

The dreaded X clamp has made a return in the Xbox One despite all the problems in the Xbox 360!

Looks pretty easy to dismantle, actually easier than the Xbox 360.

Maybe, but looking at the new ventilation system, fan and other components im not sure overheating will be an issue, but then who knows eh.
At least on a plus side they are easy to take apart.

Reminds me a lot of the slim, drive looks smaller and it has a little more cleavage of the mobo but the speaker on the outside of the chassis and the wifi adapter style is new

Seems simple enough to me now dose that 500GB HDD have any security factors if not you could replace it with a bigger one say 2TB :p

Looks like there's more room in there than my flat, plenty of space for air to circulate hopefully.

Nice to see the removable drives still using same standards ;)
