...One question if I may...How does it know what to do, in simple laymans terms?.....For instance....I wired my JTAG up as AUD_CLAMP.

Normally when you update, you have to state AUD_CLAMP and also supply the the C.P.U serial number...Yet your system gets round all of this.

I love it. I apppreciate that its driven off of a .bat file, I grew up with DOS 6.0, so I understand that bit, I'm just amazed that it works so well, bearing in mind the 'complexity of the process.

anyone know how well the FSD updater works? I've always flashed my consoles to newest dash and on my personal RGH i came across the option in FSD for dash updates...

I'm on 16537 but when I click Avatar it says I need to update. If I use this will it give me the Avatars update or will it brick my xbox?

 

After running the Dash Lauch 3.09 on my RGH Xbox Slim, I am no longer able to boot, not even into Xell. Dafuq?

- Edit: Got it to work again. It could boot into Xell, it just took quite a while.
I had to reflash everything.

Here's the step-by-step I used:
1. Connect the Xbox 360 to the internet
2. Press the eject button (this will boot up the Xbox 360)
3. Wait until it boots into Xell. When it is in Xell, look at the IP it lists and type this into your browser on your PC.
4. Download your Raw Flash
5. Download Xebuild: http://www.homebrew-connection.org/xebuild-gui-2-091-16537-kernel-support-added/
6. Create a hacked image using Xebuild
7. Rename the updflash.bin to nandflash.bin
8. Place it on a USB/HDD you know works (I placed it in the root of my external HDD that contains all my games) [It HAS to be in the root of your device]
9. Download Rawflash V4: http://libxenon.org/index.php?topic=212.0
10. Extract Rawflash V4 onto that same device
11. Power off your Xbox 360
12. Plug in the USB/HDD
13. Press the eject button to power on your Xbox 360
14. Wait until it tells you to shutdown
15. Shutdown the Xbox 360 and pull out the power cable. Wait 30 seconds and plug it back in
16. Power on your Xbox 360 normally
17. Laugh at the fact it took me twelve hours to figure this out

 

is it ok if i use dashlaunch 3.10? i am not good in creating networks is it ok if i just connect an ethernet cable from the console to my router? or it needs something more?
