About the standalone updsvr, in the read me it says put it in FAT drives but I can just launch it using xexmenu or fsd instead right?
my xbox went black. nothing shows up now. im really new to this and i thought i could just try. i regret my decision. now it is dead. i dont know what to do any more.
I was really Really Skeptical about this... as we all know that there are no easy paths for this kind of modding. But DAMN did it work! I was unsure because i didn't knew if I had to re-install freestyle dash all over again but no sweat! nothing was altered. Everything worked and I too have an up-to-date Dashboard/Kernel Thank you so much guys, a Big thank to the team behind this...really, thank you people.
Absolutely Brilliant !! I created account just to say thank you ....this worked like a charm. It updated in 12 seconds and rebooted so fast i thought i did something wrong. Anyway, You Rock!! NOTE: I had issues upgrading from DL 3.04 to 3.10. It would prompt to update but just hang the Xbox when I clicked. All i needed to do was log out of my profile before trying the install...bingo !! (in case others run into this problem)
It took me 82 seconds for the first bit and 684 seconds for the second, so anyone that it takes a while don't panic and DO NOT touch anything, leave it be let it do it's thing, just be patient. Thanks for this, very helpful compared to the manual ways that I've been doing for years, made an account to say thank you
Wow!!! This is some really great tooling! At first I thought it got stuck at the avatar section, so I tried to look for an answer. But then suddenly my TV went black, ... it was the scripted power-off All fine and working WITH avatars! Manually "updated" FSD and I'm all up2date again
hey i have got problem i connection xbox from my Modem and use ethernet cable but UpdateMyConsole didnt see my console how i can show my console to pc?
Glad to see that most are having great luck with this new update method,, thank you all for your feedback and kind comments to anyone who has not been able to make this work properly, I am sorry I cannot provide individual support for everyone on this topic, but you should be able to resolve any issues you have by reading user comments here and other sources that have this version of xebuild posted from myself and everyone I know who has used this,, a huge thanks goes out to the XeBuild Team, without these guys we would not get our updates at anywhere near the speed we do when a new dash comes out I remember the days when we had to wait weeks or months for Jtag dash updates :lol:

I have my RGH setup on the same network (192.168.0.4) Xbox 360 Neighborhood can find it and use it.. I have updserv enabled Am on DashLaunch V3.08 (523) Never mind! I got it working... My Fix: I allowed xebuild.exe to only run "Public" in my Firewall I know changed it so it may have both. It worked like it should
Be sure you leave the dashlaunch program running when trying to update, other things to try are updating to DL3.09 or 3.10, or using the force IP option by editing your .bat file and adding -ip 192.168.0.4 to the end of the command line hope that helps
My Screen went black when it finished and i almost had a heart attack. but it was just rebooting and it update fine. thanks for this!
