Nah this won't be free. Simply because are all you hosts going to host for free and never charge? No, so why would they make it free? They aren't gonna ever, when xbox one is out and 360 is no longer supported then they may as well just release the sources and say have fun with that but till then no it won't be free.

I see the benefit of hosting lobby's using XBLS, as you can easy make back the $50 in donations. However it's only around $50-$60 for a full xbox live gold year membership. It's just not logical to me to spend so much money paying for XBLS, just to host modded lobbys, even though they are fun?
why is this being even being discussed. there will never be free xbls again unless they would release the files to locally inject a clean hypervisor. servers i can imagine cost money to run and they put a bit of effort into it to just give it away. plus people are greedy why not make money when they have the chance.
Well as soon as we get our method up and working properly a limited amount of people are going to get a free 2 hour session to prove legitimacy. We've got a good team working on this and it should be finished in about two weeks. Maybe earlier.
