I stare at the hex editor for like 6 hours yesterday trying to figure it all out. I think I'm just not meant to mod my own gear lol. On a side note did you make the level 1 helmet boots ect?
I've uploaded a copy of my Leoric's Signets' Hex Data and some of it makes perfect sense, some of it doesn't? Black is the Item ID and Starting Bytes I'm assuming? Looks right to me. The pink is the identified tag (odd for identified) and the quantity (unused for armor items) so these look right. The orange is the rarity and 12 = legendary so that makes sense... But here is where I get confused.. Green is supposed to be the effect ID's for the ring but it only has 2 listed and the ring has 4 effects? Dex, Crit Chance, Bonus EXP, and pickup radius... The red is supposed to be the minimum and maximum durability respectively but one works out to 96 and the other to 56... (60 being 96 going from hex to dec, and 38 being 56 I'm assuming the AC 02 is just the durability tag and the game reads the first as minimum and the second as maximum) but the ring has a maximum durability of 60 doesn't it? neither of those numbers work out to 60.
I couldn't figure it out either. I'm going to try modding another item and see if it works, then i'll know if just the signet can't be modded.
I don't see why that would be there are tons of modified legendary items. The data seems to be stored the same as anything else. Maybe I'll do the same, try a different item one less unique being that there are only 2 or 3 items in the game with bonus XP percent maybe that's the cause of it? It could be that the XP percent bonus is actually hard coded into the item id instead of being a property of the item because I've never been able to craft anything with %bonus to XP just XP per kill
I have a 3 slot helm, can you possible increase the exp per kill? and if so is it possible you can mod my demonic essence and paragon? if yes, send me a message back ill send you the save.
hey I was wondering any chance doing save file thats has all the plans for weapons, armour, gems and any other plans needed
when i make a new character he starts a level 1 with 100 paragon why is that ? and btw i love your save they are awsome!
As a layman, who would only figure this stuff out if I had oodles of time, I thank you for all these saves and the work that goes into them. I played the PC version of this for nearly 2k hours and I have had more fun using these mods in the last week and a half than I have in almost a year and half of grinding on the PC. I am a big proponent of leveling my characters legit, (then I bust out the modded whooping sticks at lvl 60). Do you think that there will be a future update with substantially reduced requirement gear? I'm not even talking modded XP gain or anything like that, just reduced level requirement gear so that new toons can wear the ilvl 63 swag. That would be sweet. Any hooo, I love what you do and appreciate it very much, if I knew how to decipher all that code I would do the same as you. Keep up the good work.
There has got to be something about the math of these values I don't get. No matter how I convert the hex into decimal none of it equals the in game values for things like arcane damage or +attack speed. Ok I figured out how to add sockets to a weapon but it's level requirement jumped from 1 to 42?
You can add these items to your saved http://www.xpgamesaves.com/topic/83536-diablo-3-modded-gear-save/
That Mempo is off the wall! If this can be converted for the 360 and added to this thread's save, that would be fantastic!
It's official I have a 99% bonus xp helm level 1 on softcore and hardcore. Spartan and killaghost send me a pm with your GT and I'll add you guys to show them to yous.
No I cheated. Gave a helm 3 sockets, took it to level 1, added some damage boost. Perfect leveling helm.
