How do you Mod Diablo 3 saves?

I would like to tweak my own saves and I was wondering how you do it? Is there a TUT or anything?

As some said b4 there is a tool that maxes your stats only but Im sure there will be a new one out soon with more options. As for doing it yourself....hex editing and changing values, I prob missed a few other things but if you have time and patience then you will have to do some resarch/youtube vids. If you want a quick fix then download a modded save that one of the xpg members have shared.

 

Stat values seem double encrypted so for now its only possible to max them, still looking for gold.

Here is the Diablo 3 Decrypt / Encrypt Version: 1.0 and the D3 value converter, if your still looking for gold the converter will help out alot.

I think I will wait for the mod program. I have used a modded save to get gold, gems and some recipes but I would like to tweak my hardcore character. I really do not want to loose her

Ello m8, small world right? btw there are some saves that have inferno unlocked on hardcore here. Also aslong as you make a backup of your save you should be able to reload your character if you die on hardcore.

 

It is a small world lol I have backed my save I have been doing it almost religiously since the hard drive died on the xbox360 with all my games. Heart breaking loosing so much work :s Thanks, I will check the saves out ^.^

 

This as far as i got for diablo 3 modding. I did research all day long about the commands and what not.
What you need.
Revolution 360
HxD

What you need to do is get you diablo 3 character, not save. To do that you need to import your d3save to 360Revolution then go to content, heroes. now the one with the biggest bytes is going to beed your main character.

Extect him out of that file.

search for that file with the decrypter, your file should be called like c67131272f1a4e1a.dat

now open that file up inside HxD

I would tell you how to mod this section of the .dat file but there is many threads in this forum that could help you with any of this.

After modding the file, save it then make sure to encrypt the file, and then inside rev360 reharsh resign.

 

Random question. How do I get my save from my HDD to a USB? I can't find an option to choose where to save your file...Is there one or would I have needed to save there originally?

Well...I feel like an idiot. Most of the games I've acutally edited lets you change storage devices after loading the save, so I didn't even think of just going to Storage on the Xbox itself and moving it :/...
