Left 4 Dead *STABLE* ISO Mods GOTY and Original!

This ISO definitely does not work. Paid $6 for download privileges and got screwed. Moving on, nothing to see here.

 

This is in the open forum section, you shouldn't of had to pay to get these Mods.

 

Where in the almighty Flubber did you pay 6$? These are completely free and they DO work. You just aren't doing something right.

 

I've tried everything, but the mod does NOT work in any scenario. The Left4Dead2 mod works fine, but someone told me the only mod that actually works on Left4Dead 1 is NOT an ISO. I don't know where he got that info., but I do know I've done everything humanly possible and it does not work.

 

I have no idea what you just said but I can guarantee you these work on all NTSC versions of the game. I've heard the PAL versions are different.

 

I have NTSC and it doesn't work. Game plays just fine, but no mod controls.

 

Odd, but just from playing the game, I now see something like "Mod by Crackbomber" or something to that effect randomly popup on the upper left corner of the screen while playing, but the mod still does not work. Haven't really tried it either since I've tried everything humanly possible but can't get it to work. Can't figure out why all of a sudden the text randomly shows up.

 

It works fine. I done a lot of testing with Crack with this and I play L4D1 and 2 modded on a regular basis with my girlfriend.

When you see that text appear. That means it IS working.

Start up the game, go into the options ingame and change to config 2, then back to config 1, and then press the back button. It will then work.

 

Okay, I finally got it to work. The problem I was having was the instructions for the controller didn't tell me I had to use DPAD/down and A button to "turn on" the mods. Thanks for all the help and sorry for my obvious confusion and being a pain in the ass!

It's working great. The only thing I can't figure out is how I get back to the default "on" after I've changed to Prop menu 1-7. It seems to get stuck in a prop mode and I can't change back to spawn in guns, etc. I tried changing controller config to 1-2 and back, etc. Nothing seems to work except going back to dashboard and deleting user setting.

 

Change controller layout from 1 - 2 then back to 1 and reactivate menu.

 

my guess is most people forget to clear the cache and usersettings when they installed so they have to wait for it to change...Its usually always the case

 

Everytime I try to extract the file in parts 2 - 5 it says the file is corrupt. Part one works fine though. Anyone have any suggestions?

Btw, I'm using 7zip. Should I maybe try another program?

Is it possible to play this without burning the game? I modded the file and tried playing it off an external hard drive. The game plays fine but no modifications to speak of.

 

what is the difference between goty and nongoty ? my dear friend have sent me his modded zip0.360 and he is using it with non goty edition. Can I use it with GOTY edition or not ? Please respond fast
