Hi! Everything is correct and pass from the tutorial, I checked the TUs in CODBO2, it's 5. Start the game, multiplayer, press xbox button than system link. I can see the actual public servers/rooms and players. I can join to a server here, press Back and Back. Go to system link in the game menu, join. -> and NOTHING :-( It doesn't list the server, so I can't join to there and play, because i can't see anything... Any idea? thx
I TO AM NOW HAVING THIS PROBLUM IN GAMEROOM "Username /apikey mismatch. Please check settings and try agin" can anyone help?
I feel this tutorial is a little incomplete i haven't checked all the posts so this might may all ready been covered for people getting username/apikey mismatch you need to check your username and password are correct and actually press link console to jqe360 in your settings for people who cant connect to a room even though you get all passes and you still get a error message unable to join room go back to your official dashboard go to settings>network settings and configure your network manually assign your xbox with a ip address like 192.168.1.87 you can assign any ip between 192.168.1.2 - 192.168.1.252 you cannot set it as 1,254 at the end as they will be your default gateway and 253 is how your isp access your network (correct on o2 broadband) for subnet mask it will always be 255.255.255.0 that's for all networks i believe to get your gateway check this on your computer by opening CMD and type ipconfig /all and look for default gateway in the list in my case its 192.168.1.254 (o2 broadband) now DNS primary should be the same as your default gateway but you can check that using the method above like the pic below to get your secondary DNS go to this link http://www.whatsmydns.net/dns/ and find your isp when you have found it input it on your xbox you will see on the link i posted theres a primary and secondary DNS you can use any of them as your secondary on your xbox DO NOT CHANGE the primary DNS on your xbox with this one use the one you got from your computers cmd or this will not work if you have followed all steps correctly you should be good to go hope this helped
Hey Sensi can you help me with this bro, I've watched loads of videos and been trying to get this to work all yesterday and today my router is UPNP enabled I have checked in the settings on the router and I have forwarded the ports I did TCP 3072 - 3072, TCP 3071 - 3071 and then the UDP 3072 - 3072, UDP 3071 - 3071 and saved it but on FSD its still saying UPNP Enabled Router NOT found and FAIL's on everything can you help please this is doing my head in proper lol
hey delboy maybe i can help, it seems from what your saying your doing it wrong its a common mistake people make when trying to forward a port and ill try to explain to to forward a port you can use any it doesn't have to be the default one on fsd "3072 or 3071" it can be 12345 if you wish and you will still connect to all players the mistake you have made is selecting your ports as a port range on your router if your going to use the default ports don't use them as your port range for example, your using port 3071 as your data port and 3072 as your broadcast port then on your router set port range as 3070 - 3079 for UDP and TCP this way you can use any port between these numbers. you can do this with any ports another example, data port 12345 broadcast port 12346 then your range to 12340 - 12349 on your router. also check my post which is about 4 posts up from this one if u have any other problems Hope this helps dude
well i to get a pass on all off it but i dont show any ones games i have tried on mw3 tu23 and nothing.any ideas ppl. oh this is on my rgh.
Greetings I am having issues with System Link. I get Upnp enabled router not found. I have a Westell A90.After looking at the tut on here and YouTube though it is a little different. I went to port forwarding. I added service LiNK Specify protocol top or udp I put both. Globalportstart I put 12345 Globalportend I put 12346 Basehostport I believe wanted 12345 or 12340.. I click apply.. On the 360 Upnp enabled router not found. I get data port 12345 tcp fail udp fail And broadcast port 12346 top fail udp fail Anyone has any advice? When it also had select service it had games listed so I know it is possible.. Example:Alien vs predator.. I also have the option select how service will be activated.. Host or dynamic.. I click dynamic If i click host I need to select a discovered language device which lists my computer and xbox. And enter a LAN IP. I hope someone can help me out with this I am not sure why Westell is so complicated
