Ok so I want to flash my console and to do this I would usually just buy a sata card for my pc. But now I have a laptop! Does anybody know what I would use to flash my box with my laptop??? I went on ebay and seen sata cards for laptops but I don't know if they are the correct one's as it doesn't mention anything about the chipsets like the pc one's do...
You will need either a pcmcia card (must be via vt6421 chipset) or if your laptop has only a expresscard slot, a pcmcia card + expresscard/pcmcia card adapter. If you need i can give you links for these.
yea that would be great if you could. Im not sure what slot my laptop has but as its quiet old its the large 1 not the small 1...
the usb pro has been released so lap top owners (and noobs) can flash the 360 with ease, you will need : usb pro, ck3 pro rev d for power and a probe v3 with this set up you will be able to flash all 360s except the slims, hook up ya shizzle run the latest jungleflasher READ READ and THEN READ the tuts agian and you should be good to go, I got all my stuff from ck3.co.uk
just checked out the link. do i really need the ck3 pro rev d and the probe? can i just connect my drive 2 the 360's power supply as im only going 2 b using it once. i dont know if i neec the probe. not sure what its for. i have a regular 360 with a hitachi drive. also im pretty sure u cant but i already have a flashed hitachi drive from an old xbox, is there no way of getting that to work on the box i have now?
