To "unban" a retail, no never. To "unban" an RGH/JTAG then yes.

I've never understood the term "unbanning" the console as you're technically taking one other console's certificate and injecting it into your own. Essentially, you're just using the other console to go online. When that's banned, both consoles are banned.

I need to unban my RGH/JTAG I have the Deamon on it for live access. I use the live only for NETFLIX or updates.
and MY avatars are not coming up etc...

Well, since I don't condone the use of unsigned consoles on Xbox LIVE. I cannot say anymore. However, if you are using a DUAL NAND, you should always inject a banned/different keyvault from your retail one on the hacked NAND anyway.
