Fable developer Lionhead Studios has just teased an HD remake of the original Xbox RPG. We’ve got the teaser clip here.

The team Tweeted out the below clip, which shows Fable’s villain Jack of Blades, along with twets asking the studio if the original game will ever be remade.

Note the Xbox 360 logo at the end of the clip.

Sooo this is MS plans for E3 then they did say we had something to SURPRISE YOU.

Awesome I cant wait!

I got all of the fable games and completed them numerous times
I still have the lost chapters vesion of fable 1 and play it on my 360.

hopefully they add acheivements.

 

I loved this fable will be epic to see it remade and in HD

I saw this and almost cried. I am so excited for this game!!! A remake will be excellent, I wasted so much of my life on this game!

Sorry for quoting your post on both of the Fable Remake topics I have posted in, but I followed your downloads before joining (Your Fallout 3 save is amazing) and your downloads are actually one of the reasons I joined this site, so thank you, but yeah I too had the Lost Chapters Edition, I still actually remember my sister handing over her original Xbox with that game and me playing it for weeks on end quite a number of years back and if they don't add achievements I will cry, but to my knowledge Beyond Good and Evil HD, was remade for the 360 and that had achievements, so I believe we're in luck!

The screenshots released looked freaking awesome! The difference in the character you play itself is phenomenal, it's practically cube man to HD Hero.
