Temp fix ?

okay i got someone to flash my xbox slim today and i have to force eject with the hole on the left of the console to open it and when i put any (copy or retail) disc it wont read and my tray closes too fast !

i called him he will fix it for free (decent)
is there anything to do to fix it as i can open my xbox but dont know what to do

sounds like you have an 0x5 winbond chip and he has drilled too far this can be fixed sometimes with the pout fix the only way he can fix it which is 50/50 either that or he will have to fit you a new unlocked pcb and flash it that works properly .

intro it in jungleflasher if you have all the right tools to do it but trust me mate its drilled too far .

 

It would require Jungleflasher. But as what Jay Said Above Sounds more of a better conclusion get your mate who ever did it to check it out for you.

as long as hes kept youre key or if correct key is readable from that pcb and hes got a working pcb unlocked then youll be fine ..

its rather nice of him to fix something for free that hes broken also i must say .

 

yeah it is, i gave him a extra £10 also he offered to pick me up and drop me back off so all i have to do is wait till friday

edit: he asked or £15 to do it but i gave him 25

 

10 minute job mate as long as hes got an unlocked pcb he could even do it outside youre house in a car and do it as long as hes got charge in his laptop ..

maybe he has no unlocked pcbs ..and is having to source 1 ?? just a thought .

 

another thing on the video why is my xbox draw like closing 100x faster and not opening ?

 

as ive said m8 its drilled too far .. sometimes no eject other times messed up eject . either way new pcb if pout fix cant be done .

 

all the money youve spent then you could have just bought one alrady flashed .
