hi all as topic states i need a bit of help slowing down the burns on my ihas 124b 19 it will only write at 4x but i want to slow it to 2.4x the media ill be using are aones RICOHJPN-D01-67 i had a go at this on tuesday with my other ihas same model but after i thought i speed patched the firmware the drive would not see the cd in imgburn if anyone has done this to this model of ihas any help would be greatfull cheers all ..
Did you flash it to the kind of media you are trying to burn? I remember I had to flash it to the Memorex for mine.
i think so m8 but it didnt work funny how the drive stopped seeing the disc after i used that i wish i wouldnt have whacked it yesterday now there mite have been a way to sort it gonna put it back together and see if it still works l8r .. what would be the correct option for my type of d/l ???
i had the same issue slowing it down in the end i went back to verbatims. You get what you pay for not had one dud in over 100 verbs. sorry i know that didn't exactly help but imo stick with verbs at 4x
