[RELEASE] Aurora Web V1.2 - Web Browser & Search for Aurora Dashboard

TADAAAAAA! I BROUGHT YOU SOMETHING YOU PROBABLY DIDN’T EXPECT!

Hey everyone! Today I’m really excited to share something a little different with the Aurora community.

I present to you Aurora Web V1.2 — a lightweight web utility made specifically for the Aurora Dashboard on Xbox 360.

This is the script I’ve been working on to bring a small piece of the modern web experience directly into Aurora. And honestly... I wanted to make something that felt different from the usual Aurora utilities.

WHAT IS AURORA WEB?

Aurora Web allows you to access web pages and perform web searches directly from your Aurora Dashboard.

You can enter a URL using Aurora's official keyboard and request a web page through Aurora's HTTP system.

But the fun part is the search system!

Aurora Web uses the HTML version of DuckDuckGo to perform searches and extract real search results.

Search for something like:

• Minecraft
• WWE
• Xbox
• Aurora
• Games
• Anything you want!

The results are displayed directly inside Aurora in a simple controller-friendly menu.

MADE FOR AURORA

The goal was not to create a huge modern browser that the Xbox 360 could never handle.

The goal was to create something lightweight, simple, and actually useful inside Aurora.

Aurora is an amazing dashboard, and I wanted to see how far a small Lua utility could push its HTTP capabilities.

And this is the result:

Aurora Web.

This project is still lightweight and has limitations because we're working with an old Xbox 360 environment and Aurora's available HTTP functionality. Some modern HTTPS websites may not work correctly, and Arabic/Unicode text may not display perfectly in some Aurora interfaces.

But for what it is...

IT WORKS!

I tested the web requests and search functionality directly with Aurora, and the script is able to communicate with real websites and return search results.
