How would i flash an Xbox 360

I think this is the right place lol. Anyway well i already know most of my friends on xpg have some sort of modded 360 (Paddy, CC, Set are a few..Lucky s**ts :LOL But i myself have found myself wanting to start on that path so flashing seems to be a good starting point. I would like to know how to flash an xbox 360 slim 250gb but without a risk of it being console banned. I would appreciate any help you can offer me

You'll need to find out what drive you have inside and what chip the drive has before anything else SD.

You'll have to take the xbox apart and take the drive apart, on the board is a chip.

 

Oh god..Knowing me i'd break it lol ah well. Now i need a stardrive screwdriver for this Slim xbox

 

Like TG says, rip it to bits and open the drive

Not as bad as it may sound.

 

There's slim opening tools just get one of them makes the job A LOT easier.

 

first things first. you will need to get yourself a ck3 pro/lite with probe 3. if you don't have this or know someone who may let you borrow one then wait to open your case until you have it since there is no real point.
once you have a ck3 and probe i would definately get the slim openeing kit. the slim opening kits really make it easy but it can be done with some around the house tools as well BUT you may damage your case.

 

go on the xecuter site they sell a bundle with everything you need for any xbox like ck3/360pro/probe ect but the best thing to do and im sure others would agree grab a cheap liteon phat and have that as your flashed and leavve your slim as your legit m8 aww and heres the bundle with everything you will ever need to start flashing for the price of £64.95 http://www.ck3.co.uk...39&cat=5&page=1


like caboose an liam also stated get yourself the opening tools aswell there well worth paying the £5 for make opening xboxs really really simple

 

Its not as hard as it seems to flash a drive. It is good go have the equipment to do it yourself and you know it will be done correctly.
Also you will have your stock firmware and dvd key(very important and keep safe).
Every now and then you will want to reflash to update.
There is allways a chance to get console banned so do not let anyone tell you otherwise.
