ok i was wondering if you made a profile on the xbox one will you be able to download it on the 360? cause i bought a gamertag which downloaded on the X1 first but wont let me download it on 360?
when my m8 bought a xbone he still had same gamertag and it said he was on the xbone on my 360 friends list so i would think so would be weird if you could do it from 360 to xbone and not the other way around also just read a post on gamefaqs sayin that you can be logged into both at same time http://www.gamefaqs.com/boards/691088-xbox-one/68054701 do you get an error also is account from same region as you i shared mine with someone in states and used to get errors then log into account pc and do that verification code before i could use profile on xbox as they know where you are logging in from it seemed to block downloading profile untill this was done
try logging into your account on the pc and it should ask to send you a verification code to either the email or phone number on account once youve done that put the code in on the website it should then allow you to download account on xbox as you verified it from the same ip address its some sort of security mesure this has happened to me a few times if you dont have access to the phone number or email set to the account ask the person for the code that it sends to one of these and put it in on your pc
I'd call Xbox customer support in this case because something has to be blocking you from being able to recover it to the previous console.
the problem was fixed when i changed the gamertag on the account and it let me finally let me download it but no use for it since i changed it to my main
yea but only when i changed the gamertag its weird because people were saying the gamertag was available when it wasnt 0.o but microsoft had the worst support lol
