Have a question (did some searching with no results) I'm sure there is a way to change the game ID in a save for it to work with another version of the game like US saves to work on the JAP version. I have seen this done in the past for some games. Was wondering if anyone here knows how or can lead me in the right direction to figuring this out. Thanks.
In Horizon, Extract the contents of save one (lets say the 100% complete NTSC Deadspace), then take save 2 (the new save from the DE version Deadspace) inject the contents of save one. Rehash and resign, save to device. Hope I explained that correctly...
Some saves are region free and will work if you create a game folder for them and put them on your save unit. Other then that I have heard you can change the Id with a hex editor although never done it. I'm sure you could do it using 360gamesaves resigner but that is in the past. I created a game save on the box for that game, example Bioshock German, then inserted the US save (with the US Game ID) into that folder (German) game ID on my USB. Unfortunately the saves were hit and miss and only two or so worked so I just spent the last day and a half making my own set. But now I'm having issues installing the TU updates and the DLC content on my RGH so I can finish off the Brass ***** save. http://www.xpgamesaves.com/topic/81796-title-update-help-needed/#entry421864 Any help would be great.
All good fellas, I'm dumb lol. Make a rookie mistake and forgot to patch the DLC when I moved it over. All done and set is complete.
Of course that's why I made it I figured I did the Brass Balls save back in the day, why not make the whole thing for a version that people hoard or it's encrypted and not usable. It's uploading now.
