Never flashed before, the drive hasnt been flashed. I got jungleflasher to detect the drive but what know?
If the drive is unlocked with the "Unlock CD" then dump the data then you can continue to flash with LT, if it's been flashed before you'll need to restore to original 1st then flash with LT.
First of all you need to tell us what the drive is and what kit you are using to flash the drive. Without this information it is impossible to give you any help. There is a link contained within the Jungleflasher software mate, download it. The guide is very noob freindly and helps you determine what model your drive is and gives a step by step tutorial for each make of drive. One thing, if you do flash the drive make sure you back the original firmware up for possible later use !
The drive is in the picutre.... it's an Hitachi GDR-3120L and I was using an xbox as the power and a sata card. It was detected on the computer. And the guide told me to remove the drivers of my sata card and when I sdo the drive doesnt show up.
Looks to me like you have your shitachi 78 showing ni port side but now windows. I had this same problem and made a tutorial on how to flash stubborn shitachis. Here
