Farewell...

As I write this, I'm still contemplating my own decision on this, and I'm not sure it is the right one. As most of you may know, I'm ex-staff here on XPG (section mod). For the past couple of months I've been bringing my best work and effort here in an attempt to reclaim that staff position, and I feel my odds are good. I'm not writing this because I don't like XPG anymore, but rather because I have had a realization recently that I hoped wouldn't ever happen, but it did. I used to see XPG as a fun community, and fun to hang out on here, but as my join date has gotten farther and farther away, I've realized that it's feeling like more of a chore to be active and friendly on here rather than a hobby now, which is how no good member should feel. I still love this community and its members, but I feel I'm not worthy of a spot on staff or a contributing spot if I'm doing it as a chore instead of for my own entertainment. I don't know what I'll be occupying my free time with now that I won't be here with you, sadly.

I've made many friends on here that I hope to still keep in touch, just chit chat once in a while on Skype. This is a truly great community, and if you're an uprising member reading this, take my advice and keep shooting upward. You won't be disappointed at the friendly members you will meet and the staff that will practically treat you like family. I hope to keep in contact with all my buddies, but it's unlikely since there's so many of you. I wish I could write more on this, but I think I've expressed my point well. To sum it up - I've lost the fun I used to find in XPG, so I'm not deserving of a spot on staff. There's people more worthy than me.

Feel free to add me on Skype (xpgrifter) if you ever wanna chat or need someone to talk to, I won't shush you away.
