I'm making a saveset for Dead Island. And as the game is kind of suckish if you play solo, I figured I'd mod it.. Straight to 60. Now as the smart man I am I simply continued playing & saving, thus a lot of the savefiles are of a character of level 60. And if you get some Exp. you'll gain the level 50 achievement. Which is not something that should happen. So I was wondering if it was possible to mod those savefiles to a lower level. If so I'll upload a savefile and then I'll test if it doesn't unlock the level 50 achievement anyway. If nobody would help me or if it's not possible I would have to replay the entire game.. without modding.. solo.. again.. :S Rep and a thank you for the answer and the modding if possible.
It is possible and if I get my USB drive before somebody else helps you I would be happy to use my dev menu to lower your level.
Sweet. This should be the save: View attachment save_0.rar I am level 60. I can't check the amount of Exp. right now though. Thanks in advance! If it works (as in it doesn't unlock the achievement) would you be willing to mod some of the other savefiles as well? Don't know how many yet as I still need to obtain a few.
First of, thanks again for wanting to help. But I just tested one savefile to see if one achievement would unlock and all achievement progress was reset. Tried three other saves after that, and those were reset as well. So making a saveset is pretty much useless and it would likely waste your time.
