    you might be able to load the target fw and then just open and copy and paste your key in the appropriate box. i have never done it this way but i would think it would work.

    Sorry mate I had some Xbox's to fix.

    If you PM me the key or the TXT doc you have I can make you a key.bin for your DVD drive and possibly a whole new dummy file to go with it. :p

    I just worked out how to and will probably make a tutorial on this to lol.

    Hey, im thinkig of doing the process myself. Is just that im not sure where to get all the materials.. Cables, probes, X360 Pro etc.
    Do you know of a place where i can find these? Or do i have to buy them online or maybe at a PC store?
    Also i need to open up my computer right?

    Yes you can use the power from the xbox to power the drive whilst it is connected to the PC via the Sata cable

    this is fine for the BenQ as you have no power cycling to do but a bit more tricky for the LightOn as you have to power cycle the drive to get it into vendor mode

    To do this when the drive returns status 0x90 pull the power cable out of the drive and replace within around 5 seconds
    This will power cycle the drive and the drive should return status 0x70 and continue into vendor mode


    I can not give you a link to the site you get the stuff from but if you type CK3 into Google and go to the first site at the top
    that is where you need to go. :)

    I am having issues with the LT 3.0 Link, it is now working: http://www.wupload.com/file/2665863192/LT+3.0.rar

    Can you please reupload it? I'm in the middle of the process (I already connected the drive to the PC, etc... everything is powered on but I can't locate the LT pack :S

    you can get the relevant files from ixtreme.net straight away .

    and its not always possible for the the op to notice broken links you should either pm the op to tell him so he will fix it when hes on .
