Also added to the OP c4eva spoke today clarifying some questions about how 3.0 will work and what we need to do in order to make sure our games are as safe as they can be until the new ABXG is released. So what do we do when LT+3.0 Is Released? OK firstly flash the new FW to your drive (That's No brainer). Next in order to play your XGD3 games you will need to patch them with the new topology/AP2.5 data The topology data/AP2.5 is planned to be released along side LT+2.0 and the new version of XBC you can also obtain the correct topology data by dumping the original game and extracting it yourself via XBC. As I understand it, each game has its own set of topology data so you must be sure you are injecting the correct topology data into your ISO before burning. The topology data is only needed for AP2.5 active games such as haylo reach, black ops, assassins creed brotherhood and all XGD3 games as all XGD3 are AP2.5. This does not mean we will not have to re-burn and older non AP2.5 active games as Microsoft can still activate the AP2.5 on them at any time. If this were to happen then you would need to Re-Patch with the correct topology data and Re Burn the game that has has its AP2.5 activated in the same way you would an AP2.5 active or XGD3 game. If this all seems a little to much for you then don't worry! ABGX v1.0.6 is well under way and should be released shortly after LT+3.0 and XBC v2.9.0.350 until then we will have to rely on good old XBC and manual patching I hope this helps and as always more info can be found below c4eva Spoke! i dont know how to use the xbc because i dont really have a compatible drive my brother has one...is there like a guide to use i know its a lot to ask but like a short step by step procedure to injection the file into the image? I would really appreciate it thank you very much and Happy Holidays to all.. and will there be a place for example dark souls where i would be able to get that file needed to patch image? thnkz again.
