[TUT] Get any language you want in Watch_Dogs

Hi. I found simple way to get any language in Watch_Dogs.

This method will give you subtitled version of the game in your language. All you have to do is follow few steps:

1. Open in notepad file "skuconfig.dat" from DVD2 in XEX format
2. Inside look for Language ID number for your country
3. Change Languages textdefault="3" with number of your language ID
(example: Polish is ID 12 so I have to change <Languages textdefault="3" to <Languages textdefault="12")
4. In line with your Language ID and name change text="0" to text="1"
5. Save file

That's it. Now you will have your subtitled language in game.

FOR LAZY ONES:
Here is already modded file with ALL LANGUAGES UNLOCKED:

Just replace this file in main game folder and choose your language in game options.

There is also a way to convert modded XEX rip into GOD container.
You need to download THIS program and make an ISO file from XEX rip folder.
Then make GOD from that ISO just like with normal game (GOD2ISO).

No, ofcourse not. It gives you "Subtitled Translation". It unlocks 19 languages but voice over will be in english (or others depends from ripped game region). Menu, subtitles and HUD will be translated but not voice over

Works with any version or region. 19 languages total to choose from in game options.

 

Oh. Cool! I wish it supported more languages like Tomb Raider.

 

This truly sounds too good to be true, will update post after trying.\

Edit: Have already tried altering skuconfig.dat for pc Russian version. Seems it doesnt have the internal files for whatever reason to support other languages. When the options are changed to anything but russian there is no text in game.

This is not possible for those who got a retail copy of cze/hun...to change the language to english....this is attrocious
So once again, a paying customer is Fecal Leaking on, while the pirates enjoy the game without a problem.

indeed it's not possible to change it for those who got a retail copy of the game, the text is blank, if you change it to some other language.
