You have to clear your cache on your xbox.
The lastest update for fable 3, doesn't allow you to use another persons save, even if you swap id's.

 

I recently played this game again and had to mod my own save to get it to work but there was a little trick to avoid corrupt files (I found the information elsewhere and do not take credit for it). Here is what I did to get it working.

1. cleared the cache **you can not mod a save that is updated**
2. started a new game(offline) and save and quit as soon as possible
3. moved save from hard drive to memory unit (yes I still use a memory unit)
4. Extracted the file named herosave.bin from the save
5. modded the file and injected it back in the save
6. moved the save file back to the hard drive and load up the game **do not update yet** load the save and save and quit
7. now connect to xbox live and take the update and now leave the file on the hard drive because if you move it it will corrupt

 

ya i did that worked 4 awhile then my save curruptit

 

all saves will corrupt later down the track mate, just get a modded save with all weapons and cash then gift it to you're main player.

 

I found and have been using a tutorial on youtube for modding after patch and it's been working for weeks.

Fable 3 Save Editor with NO corruption 2014 (WORKING)


No problems to report as yet. (4 weeks since modding) I've completed the game twice already (male and female ) using this method.

 

yah man i cotcha give me a little and ill hook you up and as for it being old i still play and always have people jumping in and out to get stuff from me so it may be old but still awsome
