Xbox One v PS4 (Your opinion so far...) OK let the fan boys go for it before they even played either ha! What's your personal opinion on these new consoles? My view on the PS4 is great, GFX are share, game sharing is simple, speeds are fast, plenty of games so far, party chat is really good. As far as the Xbox One I see it as a great machine but it did bore me from what I seen hands on! Lets know what you think below.
i have got the xbox one i like it has its problems sure like the party system plus i dont think microsoft made it for games due to the lack of games atm but i use skype more now im gonna get the ps4 i have no dought its a great console thought even if i havent used the ps4 yet
I personally like the Xbox One due to the games and the features, I've been with Xbox for 5Years so far and never had a problem(except RGH)
Xbox one is crap at the moment so many bugs with the UI party chat issue is very annoying an RAM not resetting for games is also annoying an Party chat system is awful Microsoft should of left Party chat the way it was on the 360 changing something that wasnt broke lol but PS4 Aint had a problem with it yet its slick an clean very fast an amazing overall machine loving Killzone
You got that spot on and it's a shame, my local friends have Xbox One and they are getting frustrated with a number of problems from the broken drawer to freezing after games fail :| not fun and M$ really need to get this all ironed out for the players that paid so much for it.
PS4 is better console so far IMO, just so much more to do with it, plus games look so much better the difference between ghosts on PS4 and the ONE is really noticeable! Do love Dead Rising and Ryse though and hopefully updates will make the one a bit better
I have none yet but am getting the xbox one due to the game line ups and yes they have a hell of a lot of problems, but with the new updates coming out soon (will post the news if it has not been posted) I think it will surprise a lot of people.
BF4 blew me away on the PS4 so imagine what Uncharted 4 or Last of Us 2 would look like! :O ....the Xbox One only has a handful of games, I think it's like 9 but the PS4 has around 30 I'm sure and PSN+ members get new games free every few weeks also, we've had 3 so far and that's not including the discounts or BETA too.
Yeah I had battlefield on PS3 and upgraded on store and couldn't believe how good it looked! That first mission before you get in the lift the sun beaming was like watching a movie! Uncharted and last of us would be just like a movie I bet, games will come with health warnings soon, game looks so real you may believe you actually just killed some one :lol: just imagine when Playstation now comes jeez I won't be Leaving my house ever again haha
I think it depends on your certain taste of games, plus the fact that the xbox one games have ALL been delayed!
i havnt gotten either on them. but will probably go with the xbox one for the tv and skype features. but i will still buy the ps4 at a later date when more exclusive games come out
Having owned both consoles my very first impressions where that the PS4 was just a glorified PS3 in a different case, and that the Xbox One was the better console.. ( dont hang me ....read on ). I like Achievements and I liked the idea that there would be timed challenges by the game devs added with the normal achievements, when i read about them i figured this would be a nice addition to the gamerscore.... which it would if I could share my achivements easily with my friends ... the reality is that I cant share anything with my friends on the Xbox One! I cant see when my friends come and go on/offline. I cant invite them to a party chat to chew the fat. When i played a few multiplayer matches of COD I cant even add that guy that was really funny last match, because i cant remember his name... I Loled when i see that Major Nelson said the the Xbox One was designed by Gamers for Gamers... Bullcrap! My 8 year old Xbox 360 has more games, has more features , and is more user friendly. My Xbox 360 doesn't freeze up the whole consoles because of memory issues. Now you can call me whatever you like, and say Bullet its kinda obvious that the Xbox 360 has more games durrr.... You would be right, but lets take a look at the PS4 now shall we..... The PS4 has everything it said it would at launch. It is easy to navigate and you don't have to talk to it to make it do something. There's even Playstation Now which allows you to stream to any Sony platform including Bravia TV's , hows that for backwards compatibility? Sony have done everything they said they were going to and more, whilst so far MS have done nothing. Which Next Gen console do I own right now - Xbox One Which Next Gen console will I be getting in 6 months time - PS4 MS need to pull their damned heads outta their asses and start updating the less than functional OS / dashbaord on the Xbox One. /Rant
Well i would have to say the PS4 has knocked out the Xbox One. (Here comes the rant) Ok at first i was over buying/spending 400$(PS4)/500$(One) on another console when my Xbox and PS3 were fine but after watching a video on youtube of the PS4 running BF4 i was amazed at the clarity and speed of the console i have had gaming consoles for a long time(10-15 years) and for the first time graphics on the PS4 really blew me away. When you break it down to graphics Sony did it right they came out with a console that has ture 1080p Grpahics no Buffered 720p Bullcrap. And my biggest complaint is price how in the hell did microsoft come up with a 500$ price tag for a system that looks like a VCR and doesnt have a removealble hard drive ( :dash2: ) the Kenect must be gold plated inside to cost that much and for the US economy to be in shut a bad state and them asking 500$ i dont get it. Now after reading all the above comments about probelms i didnt even know about on the Xbox one it makes me even more upset about it. Disc Tray Errors,Hard drive crashes,games crashes, DL games not wroking,Party Chat problems and features that people liked on the 360 that are not even on the Xbox one the list goes on i have had my PS4 for about a a month now and i love it runs fast/quiet and i love the new party chat system BF4 and Ghost look amazing. They kept the feature from PS3 turing on the TV for you and going to the correct input.But the best thing about the PS4 is the controller witch is a huge upgrade from the PS3 it is best thing they have done for that console in general the whole reason i barley played PS3 was i couldnt adjust to the feel of it and never played competitively. Lastly did i mention it takes all of 5 seconds to remove the HDD and repleace it with a a 1-4TB or a 250-750gb SSD (yes a Soild State HD) thats insane. i have had not one problem with the console and setup was a breez and i love being able to wait in a pre-game lobby and go buy a movie for later that night. Now for some minnor things i would have like to have is the TV snap that Xbox one has other than that Xbox one is a very nice overside paper weight. :LOL:
i prefer xbox one but there are lots of issues 1 party chat 2 dashboard look a mess 3 no usb support 4 awkward to navigate and when you go to games and apps its a massive mess 4 the headset i feel like someone is shoving there **** in my ear at one end and and i cant hear anything anyone says 4 having to dashboard to go to party messages and friends 5 no notification 6 feed its a mes and 7 lack of games ime having more entertainment on my ipad atm but when watchdogs and the crew comes out i will be more entertained and if there some ps4 fanbowys out there thinking ime been critical on the xbox one so ps4 is so mutch better i have lots of complaints on the ps4 too
