Right this has happened a few times and its baffling me sometimes its cool and others its not no idea why its happening right here's my problem i hook it all up etc etc open the tray turn it off close half way and then click dump and i get a message tray not closed half way or some Fecal Leaking like that so i do it over and over and over again (jungleflash) any idea what the f's up lads?
i usually turn the power to the drive off when the tray is closing about half way and have never had this problem. dont turn it off when its open and push it in, its a bit hit and miss
Nar i eject then turn off and close it with my hand then power back up F ive done this hundreds of times but this problem has only been happening lately but i will try ejecting then closing midway power off
I presume your key dumping, can you not use the dummy key option, and don't bother with the drive tray?
I press close then quickly turn off then push to correct half way position, the drive at least has the close command before turning off.
ok i'll give it a try you see i could always dump using dosflash (oldschool) but its just LONGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG
