Need a little more info here, do you have the power adapter plugged in all the way? Did the drivers install on the PC? is the PC a desktop or laptop? .
yes the drivers installed on the pc its a desktop and yes the power adapter is plugged in all the way
odd ..should work fine as long as it has power and drivers installed, have you tried another accessory (usb stick,mp3 player,etc) in that port? I would look in your device manager and see if you can see the drive at all.
