hey thanks for this just wanted to add it would be sweet if we had an HPK Archiver for the Data.hpk i have used a tool to decompress it but when i archive it back it changes size =-(
A different size should not be any problems (this is probably caused by higher compression rate when compressing the zlib chunks back) as long as the file structure and endianess is correct. The lua scripts are compiled into binary format so a modified luadec 5.1 is required as well. Cheers!

do i put them in where i would put my trainers in because i done wot it said n othing working for me is there something i need to press to get a screen to come up to type cheats in? EDIT.. sorted it pal work a charm thanks dude
i extracted the lua folder and opened it n grabbed the 2 file and put them on rgh, as you would with a trainer and nothing worked,so i tried puttin 2 files bk in lua folder n moved the folder across as 1 rather than 2 seperate files n it worked a charm after that
i did that and still didnt work for me maybe u have to be past a certain point in the game? the lua folder goes in root of the game dir right? is there maybe a lua loader i might be missing?
i have both files in this path: hdd1/omerta/lua/ and nothing happens could problem be im using a chat pad?

ill double check tu's and dlc arent on here anything show up on screen when typing? works fine but only in city view so far
