im looking at a flashed xbox on gumtree for £70 it says in the post that it has LT3.0 installed is that the most upto date firmware and is it safe to play online? also, its a white 20gb and if it ever RROD much would it cost to fix?
Yes that is the latest firmware Yes it is safe to play online but there are always risks involved, Rrod can be temp fixed by a reflow and prices can vary depending on who and where you go. £50 ball figure or is around north west area.
don't waste your money mate speak to ADDZ or Splats you'll get it cheaper than that and it will be in perfect condition And you'll know who your getting it from are sound people
Splats and addz do reflowing but don't think negative think positive, You could always buy one of the trusted xpg crew and will always looks after you.
your not far from ADDZ either just noticed, but yeah you don't know the person on there mate and you could end up being ripped off, i'd only spend my money with people from XPG for that sort of thing and if anything goes wrong ADDZ and Splats will help you out

to be honest mate i would never buy a flashed box of theses used sites reasons being you never know if its been flagged for a ban i mean by this say for instance the seller he/she hasent patched there backup correctly and then gone online with it . i personally would only buy a flashed from members on here that have updated the latest dash then flashed it either that or buy an untouched phat console and get it freshly flashed . but then again these are my opinions it could last you a week or for a very long time this is the risk when buying an already flashed console .
true, id just like to get it sorted by the weekend, im going to buy one from a member, ive dealt with addz before and being local i can easily hop in the car and pick it up so hopefully he'll get back and we'll sort a deal out
