Hi guys, I'm new on this forum and also on these "modding save games" etc...
My name is Nicholas, I'm 30 years old and although I'm not a "hardcore gamer" I Like to pass some time playing videogames, My favorite games are (in no specific order): Legend of Zelda (all of em), Mario Kart (all of em), Perfect Dark (the N64 version, although the XBLA version is OK I guess), Gears of War (1, 2 and 3) and last but not least HALO (all of them as well)

Like I said, being new I'm not familiar with the terms and names for the different types of saved games, and I'd like to ask you for some clarification:

    - What is a "load and pop" save?

    - What is a "legit order" save?

    - basically, what are the differences in all of the save games you have in here (I was never aware that there were different types of saves)

Also, I'm looking for a "clean" (no "hacks", "mods" etc) 100% save for Perfect Dark XBLA (cause I want to have all the weapons, maps, modes etc for multiplayer) Could someone point me in the right direction? Like I said I get kinda "lost" in here :)

Anyway, nice to meet you guys and I hope I can become "useful" for the forums as time passes by. Thanks for your time, and please, if this is not the correct forum to post for these feel free to move it.
    Thanks again.

PS: For example, I was looking for the save game I asked for and found this: PERFECT DARK with this description:

Would anyone care to elaborate on this please? Should I inject both? Should I somehow "mix em up"? Thanks again.

Welcome to XPG mate, your in the right place to feel comfortable and learn, also help you as much as we can just keep active in the forums and you'll be like a pro in no time also make you self aware of the rules and regulations on the forums

Right a Load & pop is simply a gamesave someone has on there system and they have taken it of and shared with the community these most of the time will as it says in the title pop several achievements as soon as you load the save. These how ever can pop achievements out of order so its best to complete the game first before using these unless you just don't care lol

Legit order saves are most of the time a pack of saves where each save that you would normally get "in order" while playing the game have been saved just before the achievement will pop, so you would have to go through using several saves, its more time consuming but looks legit as if you did it you self, I' recommend using these I have made a few sets myself I think the last 1000G legit order save set I did was for Dishonored. And again a lot of the time people use these or just a few or them to do some clean up achievements (ones you have missed once you completed the game)

You can also get saves where like one of my latest Dead Space 3 one's its just one save but you can get lots of achievements through just by following the uploaders directions and or doing one thing for example, a achievement that requires you to get 50 Stasis Kills, all you would need to do is get 1 and the achievement would pop, I'll always help in my threads and go out my way to make sure you get what you needed just leave a comment by clicking on "Quote" button on the original posters post, that way he or she will get the noticification.

If you are going to use someone else's save you can't just put in on a usb and use it as its there save or like most have zero'd all there id's. Each save has 3 id's Profile id (links the save to your gamertag) Console id (links the save with your console) and Device id (again links the save with the device) you would need to change all 3 id's that are on the save if using someone else's game saves to your own and to get your id's you can get these from any of your own saves and once you know them you would just use the same each time as long as its for the same gamer tag. Sound complicated but actually very easy once you have done it once or twice, I personaly have my id's on a text file which I have in a handy place.

There are several great threads on how to do this I would save check out Caboose's TUT (tutorial) here> https://www.google.c...2XnqFFijFHwqcvw

If you need anymore help we are a great community always here to help, just keep active in the forums be polite, always make a thread if you need help as it can answer other people's questions through your own thread. And yeah enjoy this amazing and great site, trust me when I tell you there's no site out there with such great members on it. Hope I've helped ;)

Thanks for the awesome explanation. I really appreciate the time and effort.
Regarding how to obtain the ID etc, I know how to do it and also how to rehash and resign. NO trouble there. My question was more of a "curiosity" eager to learn thing.
And well, about the save I linked to, how would I inject it? I mean, there are 2 saves in there. That's where I got lost.
    Thanks again!

That it is. But sadly, it doesn't help me with my actual predicament I still don't know what to do with 2 files, how to proceed And there's nothing in the tutorials sections that tackles this specific issue AFAIK.
