So i was searching on how to jtag my Xenon xbox but found out pretty quickly that the dash board was too new to jtag. I have never knew anything about RGH until searching about it. It seems that it will work with my xbox. I understand that boot times are slow but its ok. Basically i am trying to figure out where and what i need in order to complete my RGH. Is there a newbie tut on how to do it? Please help i really want to do this or even point me in the right direction please. Thanks in advance fellow members.
Xenon RGH can only be done on dash 14699 or lower , and it is known to be nearly useless for the average user,, aside of using it for DVD key recovery, reported boot times range from 20 minutes to hours ,just to get 1 boot to grab the CPU key,, it is recommended if attempting this to get a "CPU_RSTcleaner" to help fine tune the glitch chip timing Spoiler best of luck , if you do attempt this I would be interested in hearing about your results as I have a pile of xenons here I wouldn't mind getting the DVD key from so I can match a drive to them
Do you know if there is a tut for install or modding the Xbox to RGH? I'm new at the whole jtag/RGh thing, but not a newbie when coming too modding. I have already flashed the DVD drive to play burned games and upgraded the HD. What I really need to know is how to get started on doing it and what do I need to get it to work, like a chip or something. The dashboard is definitely before 14699. I bought the Xbox for 20 bucks and fixed it so I'm just wanting to try it and see if I can get it to work. Any more info or links would be great. Really need to know how to get started and get a tut for the steps I need too do.
So I take it I need to get that cool runner chip and how do I get it and also when you said I need to get CPU_RSTcleaner or is that an option that I would need to pick when I buy it?
