Best Way To Flash A Slim?

You can use a soldering iron or a dremel, man u can even use a pin if you need to but they are all quite risky, if you dont get it exactly right you risk bricking your PCB.

If you do go by these methods just make sure you mark up the chip propperly and you should have no problems, i have used a dremel for all mine until the templates came in, thats when i found out that the templates are easy worth the £10

Nothing has changed as far as slims go mate, all still the same.

 

so useing the unlocked pcb board?

 

no buy the template from 360 parts you cant go wrong thats assuming youre chip needs kamikaze or for 0x3 id just cut the trace probe with sputnik and resolder easy ..

EDIT: On the side note, we do have some Xecuter 1.1 PCB in stock at the moment also if you are not keen on drilling a chip in your dvd drive. All you would have to do is read the key from the drive which does not require any drilling.
