[Release] Borderlands 2 Save Editor r133 + ID List *DLC Support Added*

I've downloaded saved games from XPGameSaves, but haven't actually created any of my own. An issue I'm having with these downloaded characters is that they are level 150 and have Level 100 guns in their inventory, but the game treats the character like it's Level 50. Now I assume they were modded in Gibbed's Save Editor and I shouldn't have any problems, but I do. It's like this:

In my gameplay screen, I see Level 150 at the bottom by the experience bar. In my inventory screen (Missions tab), it shows me as Level 50. Other players see me as Level 50. Because of this, I cannot equip any weapon over Level 50.

And another thing: With these characters, I cannot join my friends' games. It keeps saying, "Sending character info to host" or whatever and just... doesn't do anything.

Perhaps I ought to try modding a character myself, huh?

EDIT 1: I assume it's because Gearbox has "fixed" these "issues" in their latest patch(es).

EDIT 2: I modded my own character using the latest version of Gibbed's. The result? Same thing. Oh well... Level 50 is good enough, I guess.

 

hey guys in having a problem im trying to edit a save but it wont work for me it say rencode error and will not take my save
i extract the file with in the save and nothing but i can make a new save and save and put it on a save load it up and i get the save thing nothing works for me can anyone help me

 

im using a windows 8 pc, i am getting the reencode mismatch error. does anyone know what this is?

 

Could this be from trying to use a xbox360 savegame on a pc without converting it? I would test this out myself, but I dont have a windows pc to test on (3 linux pc's), I just have a windows virtual machine running on linux to use the game editor in.

Edit: I've figure out the problem, Gearbox patched up Borderlands 2, you have to clear the cache to use the save editor

 

The problem is Gearbox patched borderlands 2, you have to clear the cache to get rid of that error and get the save editor working again

 

Or, download the new save editor, ver 1.42 which was released on Dec 13th.

The reason the editor you are using now works after clearing your cache, is that you have removed the BL2 patch.

Here is the post that has the latest save editor download link (Thanks to GetOnMaiLevel for the link).

With the new save editor, the defaulted setting for the saves is "PC Save Files", which will cause a "Failed to load" error with xbox360 save files. So, don't forget to change the saves to the "X360 Save Files".

When i load the save i get an error message saying "Failed to load save : reencode mismatch" What am i doing wrong. :Note Im using modio, Horizon doesnt work on my computer for some reason but the process seems to be the same.

Is the link on the front page for the editor the correct one? I tried the link posted later in this thread but Mediafire is saying that the file no longer exists, and I'm getting that reencode mismatch error (swear to God that I'm following all the steps).
