1.Update your XBOX 360 console to the latest dashboard version 2.Get yourself an usb stick with at least 1GB capacity 3.Format it as a XBOX 360 Memory Unit on your XBOX 360 console via 'Dashboard/System/Storage' 4.Connect your usb stick to your PC 5.On your pc, download XTAF (Latest Beta). Big thanks go out to Slashr for this great app. 6.Run XTAF and click on 'File/Open Drive'. Now move to 'Cache Partition/Cache' and drag your update files into this folder. This will take some seconds. 7.Connect your usb stick with the XBOX 360 console and start your game The next time you want to copy updates to your usb stick, start at 6. Your usb stick must be connected with the XBOX 360 console for updates to work.
Doesn't work for me. I've done exactly as described. The PC recognises the USB stick after formatting on the 360. Copied over everything to the Cache partition - no problem. Launch game which has a title update and I've added the relevant game content, but it doesn't so anything after going into any of the games. Could it be because my profile isn't a LIVE profile? I wouldn't have though so.
Depends if the DLC you are trying to use needs to be on live you may need to do a content transfer of your dlc/arcade games etc
Nope, all of them can be played offline, e.g. Trials HD. Essentially none of them work for me - so I must be doing something wrong.
here is latest dash update SystemUpdate 12625 just burn to cd or dvd and pop it in ye xbox SystemUpdate_12625_CD.zip - 95.18MB
Sorry, i criated a new topic for my doubt. I'll post here: Some TU has the name like this: tu_12k22b7_0000000000.0000000000G3 This one i put in the CACHE folder But other TU has the name something like this: tu00000002_00000000 Where do i put this files? Because different games has the same filename for their title updates. Assassins Creed brotherhood TU #4 is tu00000002_00000000 and Crysis 2 Tu #4 also has the same filename (tu00000002_00000000), resulting in a conflit, because the files have the same name. Ps.: I use the transfer cable and xport360 to put the files in the HDD
Sorry to bump this but i need some help plz. I found a "Dead Rising 2: Off the Record" modded save. It works great except when i try to play "Sandbox Mode". It plays just fine until i try to save it. The game just goes into "Checking Storage Device. Please Don't Turn Off 360" & sits there. I read that the title update should fix this. However i did as posted somewhat as the "XTAF" link is dead. Tried 360Rev but it doesn't show a "Cache Partition/Cache" folder anywhere. How do i put this title update (that i already downloaded) on usb stick banned console.
i can't use Horizon. it never opens for me. tried old & just tried the newest. i had a topic about it here Spoiler Horizon tool help (never been able to get it to open)
a good program to see where any content should be put is jtag manager 2.1 even if you dont have a jtag it can organise the tu in the proper place ready for transfer
just tried it. not sure how to use it. i click on drive letter where my usb stick is & it's a sub folder that says xbox360 & nothing shows
the update cd. for dash update. will it work on jtag 360?? from what i heard you could only update via:nand reprogram/flash? or is the disc able to do this ?
To all of you who can't get it work. The Title Updates must be tested one by one each time you load it to the pendrive until it Works. Sometimes the firsts title updates are the best to get your game work. Don't install all the updates at the same time in the pendrive for the game you have 'cause it will only save the latest update, and the latest may not work. True Story.
