Left 4 Dead Original Online ISO Mod

I have finally found a config file that works online for L4D . This isn't my work credit goes to Nubbin You from Game Tuts. Though it works it can be glitchy. I believe it because of the ent_ used in the command line in the config. I'm sharing here as no one has posted a working one on this site and hoping the usual suspects (Cabbose, BxRKings, ADDZ, Enigma & Ccaveman84) could fine tune it to a XPG quality. Hope this helps anyone else.

Instructions:

Replace the zip0.360.zip in the "left4dead" part of the iso. No need for padding as I've already done all of that.

 

nice work but when i try to download it gets to the last MB then just stops and does not finish u think we can go over teamviewer and send me it through there

I did say it is glitchy and that can happen at times how did you complete you download?

 

Hey anyone know a site I can upload the 600mb zip flie without paying? As I feel it can get damaged very easily.

 

i went on internet explorer and downloaded it there i use google chrome

 

Try not to install it seems to freeze more if you do

 

It doesn't crash because of your configs. It crashes because it was made with Netham45's tool. His tool doesn't align the file data to the arbitrary Xbox Sector Size (iirc is 2048). However he does align the Central Directory to this sector size. However my zip creation tool (vXZIP) does align it to the proper boundary, which thus does not crash ever.

 

how about re making it with the tool you use then release

 

Why so people can ruin the leaderboards? I will be releasing my stable Left 4 Dead zip later today.
