Darksiders 2 Ultimate Starter Save! ~NO DLC~ ALL DIFICULTIES

im not sure what im doing wrong. i am extracting the files from your uploads. inserting them into my current save with modio and R/Ring them, checking to see that the id's are correct and saving them to device. then putting usb stick into xbox and i am always getting a corrupted game save. i deleted my 1a and just modded the 1b. any input as to what im doing wrong?

 

make sure you are inputting your ID's and then rehash/resign

 

ya the id's are good. im just swapping the game files with a save i made from the start of the game, and r/r them. and i still get corrupted. should i be deleting the autosave? and does it matter if i change the files like from say save slot 4 to save slot 5 when i switch the files?

 

having the same problem as Jlee. I downloaded the saves, did the modio thing, and now my saves are corrected; i'm no noob or scrub to modding, done it quite alot myself, so i know how to do it. Why are the saves corrupted? I'm adding in the saves and r/r and changing ID's. Can someone make a tut on how to make this save fully work?

 

It depends on which difficulty you are using. I had the same issue with the saves. You need to figure out which slot the difficulty you choose is going into. For example you want the hard difficulty that is saved in slot 3, you need to have 2 other saves of your own for it to go into save slot 3. A slot 3 save will transfer into slot one but will read corrupted.

Ok. Krome helped me alot. i put it in the same slot and w/e. but Now... it says: You are trying to load a save that is corrupted but recoverable.

daphuq... This is what im doing on my end:

Modio: Opening Darksiders 2 save, replacing my save with the downloaded save, changing the ID's. Then i r/r and save to my USB.

wtf am i doing wrong?

 

try to clear your hdd cache on your xbox.

 

Guys. Does anyone have a save file with no DLC's? I formatted my PC and the save is gone. I need save after killing the guardian near the tree of life or anywhere near it. Plz!
Ive been searching for two days...i cant afford to play all the game till the guardian again..plz :/

 

as the title states these saves are made with no dlc.

is there any way you can show how to mod the weapons?

 

he already made a tut on modding possessed weapons however i believe there was an update that disabled this option.

so would it be possible to disconnect from live delete the update / clear system cache > load the game without update > save > edit > update > and play with mod? (in a nutshell)

the last time i looked it almost looked like they changed the layout of the save. i had tried finding the name of a possessed weapon and couldn't find it in my save anymore.

 

just keep it equiped ingame, then in hex editor look for "primary"

wait when i looked it only had one save in the file. I thought every save had 2 files? I just had to make sure bc im not sure what to do with it usually i put both saves onto my console but will just the one work?

 

you dont need the auto save .. it will create one itself
