it safer than drilling and you can control the speed youself would be great if you could put up a tut for this method m8 as i dont think there is one on here ..for doing it this way .

Your lucky!! ...the white writing on the chip is just a print and they are all in different positions so I'd get an x-bond in future.

Yea m8 I went by the pins and mine was a lot further away from the bottom of the K. I did hit it but think I went too far in the end when it kept on locking up on me. Just got too frustrated after 4 hours of trying to open it :LOL:

 

You can get paste to fill it back and lock it if it's not too messed up.

All sorted now lads. Went on google and found a guy round the corner from me selling slim drives for £20. Had 1 left and was the same drive as mine so got that and kamikazed it, switched the keys over and now it works a treat. Thanks for everybodys help

i did two winbonds this evening 03x chipsets just scratched off the sputnik probe point then the cut trace without a fibreglass pen just used a scalpel both unlocked and flashed like a charm give me a 03x chip over 05x anyday ..
